We were warmly welcomed by the lovely family who run the hostel, even though we arrived late at night. They greeted us with smiles and even offered us dinner. The included breakfast and evening meals were delicious and catered to our tastes. The rooms and shared bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and the hot water was a blessing. The shared spaces on the ground floor and rooftop terrace were beautiful and provided a great place to relax. The New Year experience at this hotel was fantastic! The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with everyone in high spirits to celebrate. The staff went above and beyond to create a festive ambiance, with decorations and music that created a great party atmosphere. The food served was delicious and plentiful, and there were plenty of options to satisfy everyone's taste buds. The hotel also had a prime location, with easy access to nearby attractions and a vibrant nightlife scene. The proximity to the city center made it convenient to explore during the day and enjoy the festivities at night. One more advantage was the friendly and attentive staff who were always on hand to assist and make our stay comfortable.
The hotel's rooms were not well soundproofed, and the noise from the celebrations could be heard clearly in the rooms. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep, especially for those who were not participating in the festivities.

As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable in the hostel. the dormitory room, exclusively for females, was clean and cozy. the staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere of the hostel was relaxed. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long train journey from Delhi. I highly recommend Chalo Eco for its warm hospitality and great location in the atmospheric Muslim Quarter of the Old City.
